Let's face it, the four companies permitted by the White Mountain Apaches and U.S. Forest service are running basically the same trip with the same equipment. We feel Salt River Rafting stands apart for the following reasons:
1) The owners have been on the Salt since 1996 and are hands on, actually at the river running the show day to day.
2) Our 10am meeting time means it is usually warmer when you get on the river, and gives you more time to get there.
3) We have the funnest guides, the coolest dogs, and the most colorful busses in the canyon, really, we do.
4) Our 2007 Forest Service evalution was the highest of the four companies permitted to run the Salt River. We received the highest rating of More
than Satisfactory in the following categories:
* Guides with advanced first aid and swiftwater rescue
training
*Client to guide ratio for inflatable kayaks (duckies)
*Comprehensive pre-trip safety briefing
